Astronomy in the Senior University
Departamento de Física Aplicada, Escuela Politécnica
Superior de Alcoy, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain
One of the most important handicaps in astronomy, and science in general, is the long distance between public and scientists. We believe science popularization is a duty for every scientist, because this make people understand and support our work. At the end this is an investment for our own benefit. Here we present the experience of four years teaching astronomy to Senior People.
