Optical Cartography of the Northern Galactic Plane∗

The INT Photometric H-alpha Survey (IPHAS) recently published its second data release, covering more than 1800 sq. deg. of the Galactic Plane. Its broad-band photometry has been used to produce high resolution incompleteness-corrected density maps of the Plane.
