Unveiling the CMB Polarization

This contribution reviews the most recent experimental results obtained on the polarization anisotropy of the Cosmic Microwave Background and those anticipated in the near future. Some basic arguments for a dedicated satellite are also presented, as well as the need for a better characterization of polarized Galactic foregrounds.
