Observations of the solar surface dynamics
Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de l'Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées, 57 avenue d'Azereix, BP. 826, 65008 Tarbes Cedex, France
The dynamics of solar and stellar surfaces is very important to understand the dynamics of their interior as well as their activity cycles. This paper describes the dynamics observed at the solar surface from small scales (granulation) to the largest scales (differential rotation and meridional circulation).
