On the origin of ω Cen

A capture scenario of the origin of ω Centauri is studied numerically. We show that the most serious problem of this scenario - how to move a progenitor of ω Cen from a typical dwarf orbit to the current position of ω Cen - can be solve for a nucleated dwarf galaxy with Hernquist density profile.
