Magnetic fields in the photospheres of main sequence A and B stars: Observations, models, theories and mysteries

This review presents a general overview of the magnetic fields found in main sequence A and B stars, and of some of the phenomena associated with this magnetism. An attempt is made to place the observed magnetic fields into an evolutionary context.
