FIR-mm optical properties of cosmic dust analog materials
Osservatorio Astronomico di Capodimonte, Napoli, Italy
The spectroscopic properties in the FIR-mm range of analogue materials for interstellar refractory grains, such as silicates and carbon material, are reviewed. The mechanisms which determine the absorption and its dependence on composition, structure and temperature are discussed.
