EDP Sciences to cease publication of the EAS Publication Series (January 2017)
Created in 2001 by Jean-Paul Zahn, the EAS Publication Series has successfully published more than 80 high quality volumes promoting the advancement of Astronomy.
However, publishing and the way users interact with research has changed greatly in the digital era, therefore in agreement with the European Astronomical Society, we will cease publication of the EAS Publication Series after Volume 82, and we are happy to announce that we will now be publishing conference proceedings, workshops and school publications in Astronomy through EPJ Web of Conferences, incorporating the latest publishing technologies, i.e. publication of papers in Open Access, with rich media, such as video, 3D pictures etc.
We invite you to submit your publication project to:
EPJ Web of Conferences, http://www.epj-conferences.org
where your papers will be published in Open Access ensuring maximum visibility and impact for your event.
