Circumstellar envelopes as seen with millimeter interferometers

Abstract
I present a survey of recent discoveries concerning circumstellar envelopes around evolved stars: asymptotic giant branch stars and (proto-) planetary nebulae, and radiative techniques used to infer their properties.
