Emission from spherical circumstellar shells: application to Planetary Nebulae

Abstract
Emission line spectra of planetary nebulae are computed and compared to the observations. This allows for a derivation of the kinematical data concerning specific nebulae as well as for general conclusions concerning stellar evolution.
